At 4:05pm Friday, the first game of the Baylor baseball season will begin at Baylor Ballpark against Oral Roberts University.  Baylor is hosting a three- game series with games Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  1660 ESPN Radio will broadcast all three games live with Tom Barfield and Lark Smith commentating.

At the intersection of Orchard Lane and Loop 430, a school bus and a small car collided this past Friday afternoon in east Waco.

The bus was making a turn onto Loop 430 northbound when it collided with a small car.  The car drove away after the collision.  The bus driver and a female student were the only ones on the bus at the time and neither were injured.

The girl was picked up by her parents.  The incident is still under investigation.

The New York Giants go head-to-head with the New England Patriots in the 46th Super Bowl game on Sunday.  Both teams played in the 2008 Super Bowl, and the Giants upset the Patriots’ 18-0 winning streak.  This year, the Patriots have a 15-3 record, and the Giants have a 12-7 record.

The Giants just won their last three games against the top-seeded Green Bay Packers, the Atlanta Falcons, and the second-seeded San Francisco 49ers.

Sunday’s game is highly anticipated as this is the fifth time Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady appeared together at the Super Bowl.
