A woman suffered injuries on Tuesday afternoon after a tire on the vehicle in which she was riding blew out and caused the vehicle to crash.

The accident occurred on I-35 in Waco. A woman was driving her Toyota Corolla while the woman was a passenger in the car. As the woman was traveling northbound on the highway, her left front tire suddenly blew out, causing her to lose control of her vehicle. The woman crashed into an abutment, which stopped her vehicle from traveling any further.

The woman was taken to the hospital for minor injuries while the driver was not hurt. The woman has since been treated and released from the hospital.
