Late Saturday night on Highway 6, a car stopped in the southbound lanes was hit by a second vehicle leaving three people seriously injured.
Mika Brown, 20, of Grand Prairie, was driving northbound on Highway 6 when his rear tire blew out resulting in the car crossing the median and stopping perpendicular in the southbound lanes. Brown was riding with Raymond Granger, 21, and 6-month-old Rhalin Granger.
Carl Estes, 48, of Waco pulled over and stood with Raymond Granger at the rear of the perpendicular car to help when Dwain Caldwell, 75, of Mart, drove a Toyota Camry and hit Brown’s car, which collided with Estes and Granger. Granger was rushed to Scott & White Hospital, and Caldwell and Estes were taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center.
